North Ballart High Impact Washer

North Ballarat WWTP (2006) features a total SPIRAC screenings and grit solution, consisting of the following equipment:

  • STEPGUARD step screen
  • SPIROWASH with high-intensity washing chamber to provide unrecognizably clean screenings
  • SPIROTAINERS for automated filling, storage, odour and mess containment, and road transport
  • Grit Vortex chamber with grit pump extraction
  • SANDWASH grit washer for organic free grit removal

This plant is a another example of a total SPIRAC solution to provide the cleanest possible screenings and grit, odour free operation with a low cost of ownership.
